The islands of the Netherlands Antilles still retain poltical links with The Netherlands and most of the visitors to the islands are Dutch. So, for historical and commercial reaons the islands are served by airlines based in The Netherlands, KLM and more recently ARKEFLY, part of the TUI travel group.
KLM have recenlty merged with Air France and taken Martinair into the same group of companies.
The islands are uncommercial and to some degree "undiscovered islands" which is part of their great attraction. This means that seat availability on flights is extremely limited.
These airlines use Amsterdam (Schiphol) Airport as their hub which for many people living in the UK is a major advantage.
The UK to Amsterdam flights are with KLM, who fly from 15 regional airports, which is a major advantage and makes life a lot easier. Most airlines fly to the Caribbean from Gatwick or Heathrow and getting to either of those airports from the Midlands or the North of England will take a lot longer than getting to Amsterdam for the connecting flight to the Caribbean.

Mind the following: there are new rules concerning taking diving- and surfing gear along.
KLM, along with other airlines, have imposed a fuel surcharge, due to a sudden rise in oil prices.
There is a £ 238 fuel surcharge on all tickets.

If the UK connection is early you might like to fly to Amsterdam a day (or two) before your flight to the Caribbean and stay overnight in Amsterdam. This takes the rush out of an early morning start, you get a good night's sleep, and check-in next morning, at a reasonable hour. We can include that into your itinerary. We have a contract with the Van Der Valk, a four star hotel, with a free shuttle to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, which takes 10 minutes. The airport has a train station and it is a 20 minute train journey to Amsterdam city centre. It might be possible for you to enjoy some time in Amsterdam.
We always check all flight options for you, and this includes flights via other islands in the Antilles.
For example, Bonaire and Curacao are just 20 minutes from each other. At certain times it might be a better schedule and/or fare for you to fly via Curacao to get to Bonaire.
Flights are with Dutch Antilles Express.
See the Curaçao flight schedule from Amsterdam.
Please note flights to Curacao are daily and during the day time.
