KLM LUGGAGE ALLOWANCES

Hand luggage - one bag, maximum weight 12 kg per person  - maximum size 55 cm X 35 cm X 25 cm – plus a coat, umbrella/walking stick, purse, camera bag, and a reasonable amount of reading material.   

Economy Class - One piece 23kg per person limit.

N.B. if you exceed 23Kg - there is an excess baggage charge of 100 Euros each way - so if your bag weighs more than 23 Kg, we would advise you take any excess in an extra bag and pay 55 Euros each way.

World Business Class - Three Pieces 23kg limit per piece.

You may take an extra bag maximum 23 Kg (replaces the old sports equipment allowance).

KLM charge 55 Euros, each way, for an extra bag, payable at check-in.  If you check-in online (30 hours or less before departure) you pay 20% less.

You cannot combine allowances -  i.e. you cannot pack 46 kg into one bag - claiming 23 kg standard luggage allowance and 23 kg extra bag allowance.

We must advise the airline of make, weight, size of any diver's lamps you are taking. Batteries are not allowed inside lamps in hold luggage.  

DAE the inter island airline charge $2 per kilo for luggage over their 20Kg standard hold allowance.
