Buddy Dive have an excellent reputation for quality accommodation as well as a first class dive operation. The planning and effort that went into these superb boats is testimony to their determination to provide guests with excellent accommodation, service and facilities.

After a two-hour flight across the Pacific from Quito, guests are welcomed by the friendly and experienced local crew at the airport in San Cristobal. Once settled in your luxurious cabin, the onboard manager and guides will summarise the week ahead and explain the rules of engagement (to protect you as much as the wildlife). 

M.Y. Wolf Buddy and M.Y. Darwin Buddy, are the newest and most spacious liveaboard dive-yachts in the archipelago of Galapagos, but much more than just two floating hotels.

Designed by Buddy Dive, these 120 foot yachts have four decks and excellent on-board service. Both have a spacious dive deck with two sections, one section can be closed and heated, for maximum comfort after those exciting dives.

Both boats were launched in 2011, and are "First Class Motor Yacht" type vessels. They are 121 ft / 37 m long with a beam of 27 feet/8 metres, and a top speed of 12 knots. A crew of ten cater for a (maximum) guest list of 16 people.

The expansive decks makes it easy to set up your dive gear. The deck has 4 deck showers and an adjoining lounge/bar area. When returning from a dive, you can grab a warm towel and use one of the four showers on deck. Then relax in the lounge/bar. Divers can use one of four rinse tanks on deck, and those with underwater camera equipment can use a custom-designed camera table and camera rinse tanks.

You can relax on the spacious sun deck, enjoy the Jacuzzi, watch your underwater pictures on the superb entertainment system in the lounge, or enjoy a drink at the bar. The lounge is a very beautiful place to enjoy your meals. Local chefs prepare first-class meals, a combination of local, international and European cuisine.

The large, stylish suites are all a minimum of 161 sq. feet / 15 sq. metres. They are all air conditioned, have a private bathroom and are serviced several times a day.

They are equipped with an entertainment system that includes a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and laptop connection.
