Kontiki is an excellent resort on the beautiful Lac Bay. Run by Miriam and Martin - guests never cease to remark on the friendly welcome and excellent service. Bonaire is already a quiet island, and KonTiki is in a quiet spot. Although called the Wildside of the island - that only refers to the open ocean. This is a wonderful location, only 5 miles from the capital but peaceful and secluded.

Bonaire's Lac Bay is one of the top ten windsurfing sites in the world. Perfect conditions for all levels of surfers, from absolute beginners to world class, experienced sailors. Children can start from as young as four years old. This spectacular bay has near constant on-shore winds and waist deep warm water, making it a reliable and safe. The bay is protected by the reef, and close to shore the ocean conditions are extraordinarily calm. The further out you venture, the more challenging and exciting the surfing becomes. Whatever your choice this bay offers you windsurfing as it ought to be - exciting and great fun. 

The excellent beach means that families and non-surfing friends can enjoy the bay too. There is a bar and restaurant.

Bonaire Windsurf Place 
Bonaire Windsurf Place can offer individual tuition for any level of skill - from rank beginner to champion windsurfer. For those comfortable with their windsurfing ability, Bonaire Windsurf Place offers the best in equipment, including boards from RRD, Pro-Tech, and Naish. Sails are by Hot Sails Maui and Naish. Bonaire Windsurf Place offers Kid Clinics, which run for 5 days, for aged 5 and up.
 
Jibe City
Friendly and relaxed windsurf centre where boards and completely rigged sails are ready to take out. The ABK School is based at Jibe City. Andy Brandt his team of instructors present clinics and lessons throughout the year.

Jibe City also has sit-on-top-kayaks available for rent for anyone to explore the bay and the fascinating mangroves.
