Windsock

Windsock is a small, two storey apartment block, of 8 luxury apartments, in the residential area of Belnem, 4 km south of Kralendijk,  Bonaire's main town. (3km as the Flamingo flies!)

The apartments are situated opposite Donkey Beach, one of the larger sandy beaches on  Bonaire.  Donkey beach is a favourite locally, and at weekends local people enjoy the beach, with picnics etc. There are a number of fixed barbecues for general use. The beach is a great site for diving and snorkeling, but so is most of the coast. However Donkey beach does have a special atmosphere, especially at the weekend.  

Each of the 8 luxury apartments has a large living room, 1 or 2 bedrooms with air-conditioning, 1 or 2 bathrooms, a safe and a terrace or balcony. Each has a fully-equipped kitchen with a dish washing machine, microwave, American style  refrigerator (ice maker!) . A number of apartments have an ocean view, and  all the apartments look over the fantastic tropical garden.  Personally we were impressed with these apartments . We found them bright and  modern, nicely decorated, well equipped and spacious, with a cool, fresh atmosphere.  

There is a pool with terrace and reclining chairs and rinse tanks for diving equipment. Cots are available on request.

Windsock is a small complex, quiet, close to the southern beaches of Bonaire and a few minutes from town. If you are diving, and have hired a vehicle with us, you can reach all the dive sites in a few minutes, and you won't want to pay for lots of "extras" you won't be using, because you will underwater most of the day  !

Windsock has a small private beach with a dive operation run by the fantastic Wannadive Crew !
