Dive Friends Bonaire

Dive Friends Bonaire is the result of a three well established, independent dive schools on Bonaire; Photo Tours Divers , Yellow Submarine and Dive Inn. After many years of cooperation and close friendship the three decided to formalise that friendship to become - Dive friends Bonaire. Their combined knowledge, professionalism and strong belief in the personal touch has earned them National awards. 

Dive Friends Bonaire can provide you with an orientation briefing at any time, at any location, during normal business hours. Courses range from basic training for learner divers through to professional ratings, such as Divemaster. Specialty guided dives, boat dives or technical diving are also available.

During the coral spawning season, Dive Friends offers special guided night dives.   Dive friends are not directly connected to a resort and so wherever you choose to stay you are welcome to dive with Dive friends.

Dive Friends @ Dive Inn    

They also have two shops in town offering everything for divers and snorkelers as well as clothing, and souvenirs.  

If you haven't already met the crew they welcome new visitors to stop by for a cup coffee; anytime at any location and will always make time to show you around.  

N.B. Don't forget with Dive Friends you will receive a Free Nitrox upgrade (maximum three tanks per person per day) when you book any six-consecutive-day package !  

Dive Friends Bonaire, together with NetTech, N.V., organizes and sponsors the quarterly Bonaire Underwater Clean Up Dive.

On each Clean Up Dive, a different area of Bonaire's coastal reefs or beaches is selected and any rubbish which has not become part of the reef is collected.

Quarterly cleanups focus on the removal of new rubbish rather than disturbing the flora and fauna that have taken up residence in older rubbish. 

Dive Friends Bonaire welcome any volunteers who are willing to help during their holiday.

After the dive, the sponsors provide free air and a potluck BBQ! Volunteers are asked to bring a small side dish to the BBQ.

The dive usually occurs on the second Saturday of every third month (January, April, July, and October) between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, but dates may change so please ask us for details if you are interested in joining this worthwhile event to protect Bonaires wonderful reef!
