Toucan Diving

The dive school on Plaza Resort is Toucan Diving, a 5-star PADI Gold Palm IDC dive centre, with everything you need for diving and snorkeling.

But, in keeping with the general policy of Plaza, they offer a lot more by way of excursions and courses. They cater for all types of diving (including snorkeling lessons) and have an excellent programme of activities, and instruction.

"Unlimited air" means exactly what is says. As much air as you want. The unlimited air price includes tank rental, air and weights. Toucan dive has 24 hour access to fresh tanks, so you don't have to stop when the sun goes down.

Bonaire is a small island, your refills will never be more than 20 minutes drive away.

Aquakids (five mornings per week) :

Aquakids is an educational course for children from 5 to 12 years of age. Kids will learn about the underwater world and conservation. This fantastic course teaches little ones to snorkel in the coral reef near the resort . Kids will also be given the opportunity to visit Klein Bonaire on a boat excursion.

Bubble Maker :

Bubble Maker is an introductory course for kids aged 8 and above, during which they get acquainted with real scuba diving. Under close supervision of an instructor they will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving in a swimming pool. Students are then given the opportunity to dive in the shallow open water (all equipment is provided).

PADI OPEN WATER for kids :

Kids aged 10 and older can earn their PADI certification, the Junior Open Water Divers certification.
